Quality control in Al-Wataneya

Alwataneya pay a special attention to the quality and the safety of the manufactured cylinders .The cylinder pass through many quality tests and checks to ensure its safety and quality

Quality control during production process

1-Material control

The process of material control is considered the first step in the implementation of the inclusive quality system .During this stage the technical documents arrived with each material – i.e. chemical analysis and mechanical test- are checked against the international standards. Also a random  steel coil, ,flange, welding wire, Valve, welding powder ,shot blasting powder, painting material .sample from each material is collected and tested to ensure its compliance with international standards

2-The quality control during production process

Cutting and Pressing process : a random samples are collected during  the phase and all measures are collected by using the different special devices

Welding process :100 % of the cylinders are checked visually and a random samples are collected to undergo X-Ray test to discover any defects in the welding.

3-Painting Process: 100% of the cylinders are checked visually and random samples are collected to measure the thickness of the paint

 Tests applied to ensure cylinder safety and quality

1-During-Prduction Tests

A) Hydrostatic Test: Applied by 100 % on all cylinders to discover any leakage in the welding

B) Pneumatic Test: Applied by 100% on cylinders to discover any leakage in the valve

2-Lab Test

A) Explosion Test: Random sample are collected from the final products to undergo explosion test and ensure its compliance with standards

B) Mechanic Test : Random sample are collected from the final products to undergo the mechanic test and ensure its compliance with standards
